ABOUT MRS. GALLAGHER

I would like to take a moment to introduce myself and provide you with a bit of insight for what to expect this up and coming school year. My name is Kimber Gallagher and I will be your student's second grade teacher, as the eldest daughter of eight children, I learned from a very young age the value of love, patience and relying on God for His guidance and strength. I graduated from Vanguard University, in Costa Mesa California, with a Bachelor’s degree in Intercultural Studies, from there I had the wonderful opportunity to teach English as a second language in Beijing, China to second graders. Following that, my career led me to the corporate world, where I worked for several years as a Training Manager. In this role, my primary responsibility was adult training and education for some of the biggest corporations in the world. It was during this time that God revealed my deep desire to teach.

Since then my journey has led me to pursuing not only my teaching credential but also completing my graduate work through Azusa Pacific University. I've learned first hand how hurdles can be discouraging to oneself, along with overcoming hurdles through God's strength. My hope as your child's second grade teacher is to help them discover that through God, all things are possible.
I believe that God can use each and everyone of us to do great and amazing things. Over the course of this next school year, my goal is to help our students realize that through the tool of education they will be better equipped for the future God has for them. In our class, we will be learning how to utilize our talents and abilities to further God's Kingdom, we will also be learning how to grow and develop good character.

In closing, I've seen how God can work in miraculous ways and I know God will do amazing works in this class. Myself, as well as my husband Evan have both witnessed God do amazing works in our own life and we know that by submitting to God, He can do great and wonderful things in our lives.

I am looking forward to the year ahead,
